Corle VERTICAL LEG STRUCTURAL STANDING SEAM ROOF SYSTEMS
The Corle Vertical-Lok standing seam roof system blends the aesthetics of an architectural panel with the strength of a standard panel. These panels have earned UL90 ratings assuring the reliability of performance. The designer is afforded a flexible tool to meet any design challenge.
Corle Vertical-Lok is a field seamed system that offers clean lines and slim rib aesthetics even on a low slope roof. This system features factory applied mastic to ensure weather tight seams. Striations are optional for added aesthetic value.
CONCEALED FASTENING SYSTEM
A choice of concealed fastening clips is available for each panel system, including UL rated clips. These clips hold the panels firmly in place without unsightly exposed fasteners. Each panel clip system provides expansion and contraction capabilities.

TRAPEZOIDAL STRUCTURAL STANDING SEAM ROOF SYSTEMS:
The snap-together system: Corle Snap-Seal, and field seamed systems, Corle Seam-Lok, were engineered from concept to installation for strength, durability and weatherability. The standing seams are a full three inches above the lowest part of the panel, well above the water level as it flows off the roof. The seams have a factory applied mastic to ensure a weather-tight seam.
CONCEALED FASTENING SYSTEM
Corle Building Systems offers a concealed clip that articulates as well as it floats, eliminating binding and friction. These clips are available 3 3/8" high, and when additional insulation is required, a 4 3/4 clip is available.

Panels can be installed before or after the exterior walls are in place. All trim is attached after the roof is installed. With a recommended minimum slope of 1/4:12, these roof systems can be used on all types of construction, either new or retrofit.
BEGINS AND ENDS IN A HIGH
The rake/gable at both ends of each roof system finish with a 3" high standing seam, avoiding the necessity of finishing in the low, flat part of a panel, where the greatest possibilities for leaks occur in most other systems.

IDEAL FOR RE-ROOFING
Re-roofing existing buildings is an efficient method of extending the life of any structure.
In most instances, a Corle Building Systems standing seam roof system can be installed directly over the exiting roof with minor modifications, which means no work interruption for the building owner. A qualified structural engineer should be consulted for any modification to be performed. Re-roofing existing buildings is not only efficient, but it can also give a completely different look to the structure. By adding a steeper slope, and a painted Corle Building Systems standing seam roof system, a leaky existing roof can be converted into a show place that anyone would be proud to call their own.

MOST WEATHER TIGHT ROOF SYSTEMS AVAILABLE TODAY
A standing seam roof system is the most weather tight roof system available in the roofing industry. Special clips are available that allow for thermal roof expansion and contraction during extreme temperature changes. All trim is both weather tight and aesthetically pleasing, and gives the roof a beautiful finished appearance. Also, the only panel penetration required other than for endlaps is outside the building envelope. The endlaps are tightly sealed using either our unique compression joint or by swagging the panels. Factory applied sealant in the panel sidelap ensures a tight, secure weather-tight lap whether its is a snap-together system or a field seamed system.
Each Corle Building Systems roof system is a complete system. Corle Building Systems offers patented cinch straps for the trapezoidal systems and swagging for the vertical leg systems at endlaps, backup plates for use at the endlaps and ridge, concealed articulating and floating clips, and color-matched trim fasteners.
Panels for each system are available in 22 or 24 gauge GALVALUME (Corle Vertical-Lok is not available in 26 gauge). GALVALUME is a high quality cold-rolled sheet steel with a corrosion resistant metallic coating of aluminum and zinc. In addition, panel striations are available in the vertical leg systems. To ensure that any exposed fastener will last as long as the roof, our standard offering is a zinc aluminum alloy head fastener.

CERAM-A-STAR 1050®. is a thermoset coating system composed of polyester resin modified by copolymerization with a functional silicone resin intermediate. With high quality ceramic pigmentation, CERAM-A-STAR 1050®. offers optimum exterior protection, plus superior resistance to chemical corrosion and ultraviolet radiation. Used with UY9R60000, AkzoNobel's modified epoxy primer, CERAM-A-STAR 1050®. represents the most sophisticated silicone polyester coating system in the industry.

THE ARTICULATING CLIP ELIMINATES BINDING AND FRICTION
There are many styles of standing seam clip systems available today. However, Corle Building Systems offers the only clip that both articulates and floats, which eliminates binding and friction. This clip is available for both the Corle Snap-Seal and Corle Seam-Lok. Two floating clips are available with each system. When added insulation is required, a high floating clip is used with a 1" thermal spacer.
This four piece clip articulates between the base and intermediate section without binding. Typically, binding on the clip is attributed to misaligned or out-of-square purlins or bar joists.. The bind restricts a standing seam roof from properly floating the way it was designed.
The floating section of most clip systems grabs only the top portion of the male leg of the panel while the fixed section of the clip supports the bottom male leg. When expansion and contraction occur, the top portion actually moves with the panel as the bottom portion remains fixed. This creates friction or drag between the clip and panel, which greatly restricts movement. The articulating clip, which allows for 2 1/2" of slide per clip, supports both the top and bottom of the male leg eliminating the friction and allowing the panel to float freely as it was designed.
